  • Walk from villages to villages to soak up the fresh atmosphere and get away from the hassles of the urban centers
  • Spend a night in a local house and have dinner in the company of your hosts
  • Admire spectacular mountainous landscapes with ample opportunities to hone your photography skills and capture some winning shots
  • Meet with ethnic minority groups clad in their colorful attires and experience their authentic culture
  • You will depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau Valley – home to Thai, Muong, and H’mong ethnic minority people. Tonight, you will be hosted by a Thai family. Overnight in Mai Chau.

  • Set out on a 38km drive from Mai Chau to Sa Linh and start a 2-hour trek through the hamlets inhabited by H’Mong Ethnic people, then continue the drive to Moc Chau Plateau for lunch. Stay overnight in Son La.

  • You will visit a former French prison before leaving Son La for Dien Bien Phu. Take an en route break at the ethnic market of Thuan Chau before climbing over the Pha Din Pass. Stay overnight at Dien Bien Phu Basin.

  • Depart to Muong Lay and you will be rewarded with stunning scenery as it slides by. Continue to visit Muong Lay Town, located in the northern province of Lai Chau, to find out about some customary practices of the people living here. Stay overnight at Lan Anh Hotel, Dien Bien Phu

  • Today, our North Vietnam tour package offers you a boat ride along the Da River, around a long vertical drop to appreciate its wilderness and aesthetic beauty while taking in the musty tropical smell. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Sin Ho, a district is located in the middle of Lai Chau Province, on the northern border with Yunnan – China.

  • During the day, you will travel for a total of 7 hours along one of the most spectacular stretches of road, take in all the stunning sights and sounds typical of the region as you pass by. With splendid mountainous vistas and greenery, you will get to witness one of the most spectacular stretches of road across the country and arrive in Sa Pa during the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Sapa

  • After breakfast, you will start a lovely trek across the spectacular landscape of Lao Chai Village – home to the Black H’mong, to catch a glimpse of tribal life on the mountains. Enjoy a delightful al fresco lunch and continue your highland adventure to visit Dzay people in Ta Van Village, whose houses nestled in a beautiful valley with one of the most intoxicating views of rice terraces in Vietnam. Check in to your homestay and seek interactions with your hosts- a family of Dzay People to enjoy the place like an insider. Spend some idle time to enjoy the mesmerizing tribal life as the Sun sets and watch mountain range after mountain range vanish into the misty horizon. You can help out your host family with dinner and then enjoy it like a local.

  • After having breakfast (prepared by your host family), start trekking to visit two villages of the Red Dzao and the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan people). You will visit a beautiful waterfall and a rattan bridge, while enjoying the landscapes of terrace fields and bamboo forests on the way. Go back to Sapa to relax before driving back to Hanoi.
